I'm dissapointed in all of you for neglecting this wonderful, wonderful game.
Shadowrun is an fps with rpg elements, their are 3 different game modes, Attrition, which is simply Team Deathmatch. Extraction, which is basically capture the flag, and thirdly, Raid, where one team must capture and deliver teh flag, while the other prevents them.
The gameplay consists of the basics, at first, go around and shoot people, until they die, or capture the flag, but before you can do this, you must choose a race, either; Elves, Trolls, Humans or Dwarfs, each having their own advantages and disadvantages.
Once you've gone around and shot some people, you can afford magic abilities, technologies and weapons.
magic consists of stuff such as teleport, gusts of wind and the ability to grow a tree which heals you.
Technology consists of stuff such as Glider (which is a pair of wings that allow you to glide), enhanced vision (which allows you to see enemies through walls/ceilings/floors) and smartlink which gives you additional accuracy.
Weapons, are varied enough to keep most people happy, from smgs to snipers and miniguns to rocket launchers.
sometimes weapons, magic and technology can all be used in conjunction with eachother, making them combined, extremely deadly, for example, if you have teleport, enhanced vision and a katana, you can see where the enemy is, teleport behind them, and then slash them up with the katana.
the games graphics aren't the best, but this game was released in 2007, maps are plentiful, however not a huge amount of story is given (however, shadowrun does have a story, that can be found on the internet, being it that this game is based off another game of teh same name).
