Which of these newer model consoles are your favorite, and the best game you have for it.

I really like anything by nintendo, because of Zeldo and Mario games.
But my favorite is the PS3, it never overheats, it has a great variety of things to download from the Playstation Store, it's easy to set up to the internet, it's easy to get used to, and it has some of the best games I have ever played.

PS3 melts the discs after you've played them for 2 hours. Xbox 360 doesn't get the RROD much anymore on the newer versions and anyway even if it does, it's easy to fix.

The Wii is my favourite. I think it has a great selection of games. Admittedly, these were mostly quite childish but this is changing completely with MadWorld, Assassin's creed 2, the Conduit, Broken Sword and No More Heroes 2 (and more). It has a great selection of downloadable games and past games from the virtual console. Also, the graphics, while they are worse than other consoles, are ten times better than people make them out to be.

It's gimmicky, considering motion sensing is far from new or revolutionary and every major console has some form of it. the virtual console is a rip-off considering you play 5-10 bucks for games you already own, plus emulators are free. all the "wii _____" titles are usually poor. wii music is horrible. the games are all targeted to young kids. First person shooters suck on wii because it is too sensitive, even on the lowest setting. That zelda game is just a repackaged Ocarina of Time. On that note, They just milk their franchises over and over until they are dried. horrible third party support. no media compatibility. no HDD. a DVD drive that doesn't play DVD's. controllers suck battery life like a fat kid does cake. Hardware is just a gamecube with motion sensing compatibility. Friend codes are annoying and unnecessary. there is a different friend code for every game. nun chucks sold separately and most games require them. wiimotion+ is an overpriced gimmick which makes the controllers work like they SHOULD HAVE IN TH FIRST PLACE. a large portion of the library consists of shovelware (games that are "shoveled" out purely for profit with no regard for quality). you have to pay to use the web browser (with ps3 it is fully functional and is a standard feature, hell even the psp is better at it and that is a hand held).

Need I say more and please notice I never once brought up graphics.

I dunno man. I kinda like the Wii. The console has more variety than FPS games. (Yes, I know, all PS3 and 360 games aren't FPS games, but a huge portion [spelling?] of them are.) I'm not saying that I think the PS3 and 360 blows. I like all the consoles. I just like the Wii a LITTLE better.

omg been away from NG so much, i forgot you can't edit your posts, gotta be more careful (sorry for double posting but this was necessary)

i find the wii good in one thing Brawl... the rest is not so good because of things mentioned above.
The X360 does not dry its series that bad, has good internet conection and the PS3 is more of a general media center to me, but now that i think about it, i wouldn't have bought my Wii if it wasnt for Brawl.. (and i guess almost everyone did it...)

I've played games for hours straight in a room at 40 degrees C (104 or so in F). and It never once overheated. or melted the disc which takes more heat to do than to normally overhead considering the majority of the heat comes from the CPU which is outside the Blu-Ray drive.
