So the hot topic at Costco tonight was that early today, a little girl took a dump on the floor.

I guess she was messing around under the cart and decided to relieve herself.

When one of the guys heard about this and started going on about how he would have yelled at the kid and he couldn't believe what happened and blah blah blah. Then again he's a 23 year old who's married but does nothing but party.

But I'm curious, how would you even handle a situation like this if it was your kid?
Or if you were the cashier?

If I were tied up, would you ring my bell?

I doubt it was on purpose, so yelling at the kid would just embarrass it and make it feel bad. I'd just help it clean up and if I was the parent, or just clean up the floor if I worked there. You can't blame a five year old and punish them for not being able to control their bowels or bladder.

Well if I worked there I would just complain to myself and go clean the mess up. It was just a little girl so you can't get too upset at her but you can be completely digusted.

First off, how did she dump on the floor? Wasn't she wearing diapers, or underwear, or SOMETHING for that matter?
Well, I would just tell the janitor my daughter had a big accident, he would clean it up, and then I would tell the little 29 year old party bachelor to have a child before he comes talking to me.

Shouldn't the kid be wearing a diaper or some sort?

I would rub her nose in it to teach her not to potty inside the house.

I don't exactly know what happened and how easily she took a dump on the flood but they closed the line, sprayed some chemical on the feces and had a janitor guy bring a scrubber and clean it up.

I heard the cashier who's line it happened in talking about it but didn't hear the whole story.

i don't know how old the girl was but I think she was 3-5? I don't blame the child or anything but I am curious of why it happened so easily.

If I were tied up, would you ring my bell?

Oh my God I would probably laugh my ass off if that happened. I guess I'd clean it up and I'd definately take care of any problems my daughter might have, but she was probably doing it to be funny. Wow. That's hilarious (but the girl shouldn't have been under the cart-- that coulda been dangerous! :/

What CAN you do? You just clean it up. Potty accidents happen with kids. The 23 year old needs HIS nose rubbed in it.

Be a responsible parent and put my kid in the cart seat. My parents forced me to sit in that thing until I was about 6. But I wasn't a type to relieve myself in a store. I just peed my bed every other night until I was 10.

I wouldn't blame the kid, but I would make the parent clean it up. I'm sorry, but if that actually was a five year old, they were probably trying to tell their mom or dad that they had to go to the bathroom. And when a little kid says they need to go, you book it to the freaking bathroom. For them to ignore the kid long enough that they had no choice but to drop a load on the floor is entirely on the parent.

First of all, PLEASE create better thread topics.

I'd get the janitor and apologize to him about the accident. I'd even give that girl critical punishment.

I don't know how you people would feel shameful. It's not like everyone will recognize you when you come again...

If you can weaken that last sentence, then I will take it back

OP, were you an employee, a customer, or the little girl who took a dump?

This is filler text.

If I was the parent: I'd rush my child to the restroom and give him the time to get into the cubicle and clean himself up - unless if the child's under the age of 3, then I guess it's all me, babyyyy ;]

If I was the cashier: I'd ask the parent if everything is okay, and keep it a low-profile situation. If the parent is needing some help with the situation at hand, I'd make sure that the restroom is cleared or just not so busy. I'd ask if they needed anything else such as more toilet rolls, any wet wipes, etc, etc.

If I was the kids parent I would yell at the kid and leave the store before anyone noticed, if I was the cashier I would just go on the intercom and say "cleanup at register 12" (or whatever number register I was at)

I would abandon her on the streets.

That's what a real Father would do.

If your reading this, then why do you care?

By looking at your aurora, I bet that's what you would exactly do in that situation.
