Do you judge users by their level?

Anybody that is a pretty high level, like over 30, always gets my respect because if you have been here for that long there's a real low chance of being completely worthless.
For the lower levels, I look at post count first and if they have over 5000 I pay a lot more attention to them. Unless a user's a troll I don't pay much attention to smaller users (like <1000 posts and low level), especially if there's a long thread. I read the posts from the bigger users and those that I am familiar with.
I can be a bitch about this.

No, because level makes no difference. If they are a troll, they are a troll. If they are a good poster, they are a good poster. etc.

No, not at all. I always read the their post before the level or post count. I don't care if you are a lower level than me, but higher levels usually in my eyes have more experience so I respect them just a little bit more.

If I did Luis and the majority of the staff and a few other respected people would be worthless turds to me.

Fuck no!
All your level shows is how long you've been obsessing over a website for, anyway. Yes, people with low levels can be stupid noobs, but only if they're completely new to the site (low level + recent signup + tiny post count).
There's a pretty easy way to tell if someone is a troll or not: READ the post. Simple as that. Just because they've a low level/postcount doesn't mean they're a troll. Everyone had a low level and post count once.
Conversely, just because someone has a high level etc. doesn't mean they're a decent BBS user either. Regulars often like to take the piss out of things and troll each other. Having thousands of exp and posts has done precious little to their love of that.
Posts should always be judged on what's actually in them, not what the numbers and picture next to it say. I don't even know why half of that stuff is displayed on the forums at all.
And if no-one agrees, I'm blaming my low level, so screw you all.

I usually don't judge people by their levels or post counts but more towards the quality of their posts. Any moron can have thousands of posts and a high level.

You SHALL read this post.
As for the OP, I try not to judge based on level. But when I see a low level, recently joined, low post count user who's obviously trolling, I tend to ignore them.

When I was brand new (this is an alt so you won't see these in my message history) I'd use to contradict anything anyone a level below me would say; with my main argument being their sign up date and level. For whatever reason to me someone's sign up date and level (these usually go hand and hand) would be their identity, the higher your level was the more respected and intelligent you where, at least in my mind. Then slowly, however, I realized trolls and assholes are oblivious to levels, they exist in all of us, so judging people by their level didn't make much sense. Now I just think of everyone as the ignorant bastards they are. I saw that was a lot more common in '07, especially towards the end, now I hardly see it unless there's a troll being massively flamed.

Higher leveled people have more respect in my eyes.
That's so fucking ironic. Just look at EpicFail's aura and level.
On topic.
I think 1 and 2 without aura are probably trolls too. But i when i was levels 1-3 i was neutral. Because i didn't know how to change it, not because i didn't know that they existed.
When i was level 1, 2 and 3, i didn't know what the hell a troll was, i was a noob, and my english was as shitty as hell

No. But I do judge by sign up date and number of posts. I just want to know a person is serious, and not some annoying troll or 10yr old kid.

Indeed. I signed up as a troll, and now enjoy the site rather than pollute it.
I judge users on their level, and by things they wrote. Did tramps post it? Fuck yeah I read that shit.

LOLLOLLOLLOL Is Luis posting in this thread using an alt or something?
I haven't read all of the pages in this thread
Naw, level has little to do with how I feel about a member or their posts. Which is good, I suppose; as I'm still in the lower echelon myself.

Sometimes I do. I usually view users who are 1-3 as trolls or possible new users.
As it gets high up I tend to ignore them.
If there ridiculously high like 25+, I tend to view them as smug bastards.

I don't judge people by their Level, just the quality of their posts. Of course, my level isn't that impressive, but if you look at my signup date and posts, I would say I have been pretty active.
I mean you could have a person who's level 25 and is a troll and one who's level 5 and is a good poster. It's just quality over quantity with me.

I really don't think a high level matters. All it means is they like to vote on flash and stuff, it has no relevance to the forums? Doesn't it? (if it does look at my join date before laughing at me)
What the hell are you reading this for?!?! This isn't important!

Absolutely. A user with a low level is nothing. Don't you understand anything about this website?
