Left 4 Dead Dlc

I heard that a DLC for l4d was supposed to be comin out on may 5th. Don't know if its the exact date but it contains 2 new campaigns and a whole new survivor mode! WOOT!

Of course you will have to pay for it, but I have no idea when it is coming out, I won't be getting it. I've spent over 100 dollars this month on PSN.

We get the 2 previous campaigns in versus and a new mode with 9 re-used locations and a new one called Lighthouse.

It's coming out April 21st.

That survival mode didn't come out yet?

I think Resident Evil 5's Mercenaries Mode already blew it out the water with plenty of stages, a new stage, old stages with new accessible areas, 4 player options, team battles, etc..

Valve is really nice with it's support and care for the community. TF2 gets a lot of free stuff (PC only,) and I guess it works from a marketing standpoint.

Oh, and I love how with the PC version of L4D, I can just start the game, wait for the update, and go straight into survival, whilst the 360 version requires me to manually download the mode.

I was hoping that this would give me reason to start playing L4D again. But one of the main things the DLC does is add levels in a different game mode, THAT WE ALREADY HAVE. My problem with L4D was that it was very similar each time you played it, horribly low weapons choice, same enemies, same level, same locations of weapons etc.

So all I'm getting is a new map to do this in (might give it a try) and then the other two maps except multi-player

Its stated on their site and various others that Both 360 and PC updates are free.

Lol console limitations. It's also why you Xbuddies don't have TF2 updates, Valve tries to make it fir for your console.

personally id rather have more campaigns and maybe some new weapons because with console commands you can already play dead air and death toll on versus and even survival mode
