Just woke up like 20 minutes ago by a firealarm. I live in an apartement on the sixth floor.
It appeared to come from my neighbour, and me and another neighbour (who also had awoken from that) tried to find out if it was a fire or what. As it seemed, the door wasn't locked, so we walked in - only to find the guy who lives there passed out in the couch.
And sure enough, the firealarm had gone off, the dude had forgotten something on the oven, that was causing the smoke and all that shit. So I jumped up and grabbed for the alarm, and turned it off.
Could have been the end of the story right here, but I didn't feel comfortable of having that guy sleeping that heavy (he's alive, he was snoring a bit when I was in there), but if i'd go in alone I would be trespassing. So I called the cops, and they said it was cool to go inside and turn the alarm on again (the dude had his balkony-door open, so the smoke had dissapeared quite fast). It's now nearly 2.40 in the morning here, and I can't fucking sleep again.
NEWGROUNDS, HOW DO I FALL ASLEEP WHEN I'M NOT TIRED AAAARGH?!!!! >:(

I've actually found your "Drunk" song to make me very sleepy. Ironic isn't it.

Ibuprofen, and then watch the Senate on TV. You'll be sleeping in less than 3 minutes.
Huh?

Ibuprofen helps to sleep? Didn't know that...
I heard milk was good to help to sleep. I personally just exercise a bit, it makes me lazy and sleepy. Sometimes I do push ups before sleeping.
My signature was old so I changed it.

Warming milk activates enzymes that cause sleepiness. Try it.

Ibuprofen is great because it helps you relax. It slows you down.
Also milk has a reputation for giving you a sour belly when you sleep. So I wouldn't suggest it.

Just go onto your bed, pull the blankets over your head, and you'll get tired.
Atleast, that works for me.

lol, i slipped a note throug the door before last night, explaining to the guy what we had done (in case he wondered why his fryingpan magically jumped away, and why his apartement smelt like smoke) and today the note was on the door, saying "thank you". i only signed the note /neighbours, so he'll never know who we were. hurr hurr.

Go outside for a jog and keep jogging so that you become tired.
work out never works for me, fact is that if i work out too late, to say 21-22 on the evening, i have to both cool down and calm down until i can sleep, and that takes at least two hours.
read the thread a little closer and you'll find that i solved the problem by doing mah physics ;)

Read a book? Drink a warm glass of milk? The simple methods always work best, but if all else fails do calisthenics until you exhaust yourself to a deep coma like sleep.
