might be cause the planes are getting old lol, new plane designs are rare cause they're expensive, so they would rather fix up some old rust bucket that develop a new safer design or even build a new plane from old designs.

Pilot school is getting pretty slack. They're teaching pilots how to take off and fly, but skip the chapter on landing and that sort of thing.

Not just 4 this month, but I think like 10 this year. I think most of these pilots are taking after the first one this year that anyone cares about (the Hudson crash). They're thinking "Hey! I wanna be popular too!!" so they crash their plane "accidentely" and screw things. Badly.

I'm sorry, you failed to pick up on my sarcasm in that post. That wasn't meant to be taken seriously, and I thought that was fairly clear.
I'm pretty sure a lot of the posts in this thread are not meant to be taken seriously. I mean shit, this is General, can you REALLY expect anyone to be serious about anything in here?
