Okay, well I added a bit more detail to it, added some shadowing along the creatures and the paper rips and a bit of darker colouring on the ripped pages.

I would make the lines thinner if I could, but I don't think that's possible unless I redraw all of them, and with it being exam time and all, I don't have enough time [Yesterday I was taking a break from studying]

So yeah, here it is.

I hope that it's acceptable now.

I hope you're enforcing a strict quality code JKA, i think there's 2 submissions so far that are decent, most of the submissions look like they took maybe 10 minutes. You guys can do better than that.

I'll do my submission sometime this week and help raise the bar a little for you JKA ;)

Okay, I've already done my part for this sort of, but before it's really really done I'd like some constructive criticism on it.
The only thing I'm really unsure about is the "WARNING: STRETCHY DEATH" sign, which is just a silly xkcd reference that I thought was kind of funny.

I thoguht the whole point was to give it that notebook effect. Like doodles and what not :) I spent atleast 20 mins on mine but whatever

Just cause it's doodles isn't an excuse for poor quality, take austinbreed's for example, it's simple and just linework and a doodle, but it's still clean and nice. Just saying some of the stuff that's being posted is a little sub-par, and one of the things that came up last time was what standards JKA was going to use for what got in and what didn't, so i was just curious what it was.

My expected standards are:
1. Well presented.
2. Time and effort put into their work.
3. NO MS PAINT.
4. Good ideas and nice pretty pics :3
5. Something that can really catch someones eye from the crowd!
6. Nicely colored and/or shaded.

That's all I can think of, but you guys get the main idea. . . I WANT GOOD AND WELL PRESENTED PARTS!

Well, I gave it a shot. So much for making it into the collab then.

mine is sort of a rough idea / work in progress... i was under the impression it had to be a doodle on a notepad... something you would do when bored... if you want a piece of art then im going to rework this....ciao

Exactly what I thought - I don't tend to draw aswell as I can in a notepad, just quick and fun doodles.

I'll work on a proper piece after

I guess that, if it has some inking job, it could look good, but if you only use pencil, then it'll be almost invisible.
