Harou Nakami lost his eye in a battle with his younger brother, Senjyo who inherited his father's armies. Cast out of his land of birth in the Dark East, he now travels the Dangerous Seas as a pirate and sword for hire.
Yuniko was a concubine from a feudal domain in the Dark East, she becomes the property of Harou during one of his villainous quests and shares the pirate's enthusiasm for criminal activity and sword fighting.

Growing up on the streets, these two soul mates found fighting easy. Before they reached puberty, their were shanghaied into the local warlords assasination team. They were taught in the deadly arts of Ninjutsu, making them both efficient in armed and unarmed fight. Bonnie mastered the arts of the of the kusari to perfection, and combined it with her power to lure men. Clyde found that he had special skills. He perfected them, allowing him to take his martial arts to a new level. But the powers altered his appearance, and forced him to cover his face. They died in combat, fighting in a special division of SS, in 1944, but was later reanimated and ordered to take dangerouse assassination assignments for variouse necromancers.
