Recently I was on Thescreensavers.com and I was trying to create That 'Fire' text by Bert Monroy.. There was a particular step I didn't get... "Place a new Layer under the one you just Blurred, And Fill it with Black"

How do I fill a layer with just color?! Color?!

I'm an absolute n00b to all the aspects of PS, Any help is greatly appreciated, Thanks in advance..

BTW, How do I make it so all those little Boxes in the work space are 'behind' the actual Work area

With the paint bucket tool, just like in practically every other graphics program ever made.

I clicked the Paint bucket, Dragged it to the layer box with ALL the other layers, But it wouldn't fill.... Damn i'm so confuzled...

uh. You click the paint bucket button, and then click on your picture to fill it with color.
