Honestly, i have very big curly hair that looks like a jewish afro. But in general, everyone tells me to "cut off you hair" or get a haircut or something similar to that. Last time i got a haircut, i was shaven down so i looked like a illegal immigrant. Usually everyone in school has short or combed down hair. But I dont. I stick right out. In the 70's big hair was considered alright. But i guess here in 2009 its the other way around.

One of my friend has a curly afro. I like it. He told me some people in high school used to say it was ugly.

Nah thats different from mine. Mine is all bushy like. But not like an afro much, just curly.

Get a buzz cut. I used to have long hair and it pissed me off. (not curly though)

Keep it at a short enough length to keep the curls, but avoid the jewfro. Or, grow it out to the point where the weight of the hair overpowers the curls and begins to fall, which takes a while, but can look pretty good on some guys, and there are girls who love that look.

lol @ buzzcuts. The last style i would want my hair too look like would be a buzzcut. I dont want to look like fresh out of the military. Hopefully i'll just grow it out and see if it comes down from the weight.

Anyway i just tend to pull a 10 year old insult and tell them back "why dont you cut your ball hair off, if you have any". It works most of the time.
