I used plastic bags as parachutes when I was like 5, and I only jumped from short distances and found out pretty quickly that they did a pretty shite job of acting as a parachute.

Ok, this is stupid. Not the topic, but the whole scenario.

First off, what the fuck is she thinking when she decides to pin this down on a wrestling game? I don't recall ever seeing a wrestler use a paper bag and strings to float into a ring.
Second, how old is this kid? He either has to be like 5 years old or mentally challenged to jump off a building into and empty pool.
Third, WTF is the mother thinking when she decides to leave her child alone in her apartment? If it is young/mentally challenged, you should be keeping an eye on the child 24/7, and the time for a break should be when the child is under the influence f another trusted guardian.
Finally, why would the door to an apartment roof be open? That usually doesn't happen. It's like your begging mental/emo people to kill themselves.

You can parachute into an empty pool in Saints Row 2. But that game has other worries than that.

I remember in a mission impossible game you had to jump out of a plane without a parachute.

How can people be stupid enough to do that? And I doubt video games had an impact on that, I've wanted to make my own parachute and jump off my balcony, but I stopped and realized that only a retard can be dumb enough to jump off a building with a homemade parachute.

besides, parachutes need a lot of air time to take any effect.
