Now, as everyone knows, the vocalist company has an array of both male and female singers, both sexes being able to sing any genre. The only difference is sound.

Some men don't like admitting that they like bands with female singers, because they think listening to a girl singing will harm their masculinity. Some men just come out with it and say they like these bands which other men shun.

So Newgrounds, my question to you is, what is your favorite band with a female vocalist?

For me it you either have to be Arch Enemy or Paramore. Paramore has a different style than I usually listen to, but when it comes on on my iPod or on the radio, i enjoy listening to it.

Probably Paramore. I've only heard one song but I'm not that familiar with bands that have chick singers in them, so I don't know.

And No Doubt sucks. Just thought I'd throw that in there.

Ya, when I first got the CD and downloaded it to my comp, I listened to a couple songs and figured they kicked ass, so I pulled up their Wiki page and BAM.

Everything I knew was wrong.

Laura Marling, and if you're talking about bands that sometimes have female vocalists, I'd have to add Arcade Fire and Los Campesinos!.

Also, I adore Beth Hirsch's voice in Air - All I Need.

I'VE BEEN ALIVE IN FOUR SEPARATE DECADES WHAT THE FUCK-

I saw those guys live opening for NIN, it wasn't exactly what I was hoping for opening for that concert. They were okay, not that great though. Maybe they just suck live, and are better in the studio, I haven't bothered to check that out yet.

Anyways, they just seemed to electronicy for my tastes, as opposed to NIN's more industrial flavour.

I liked most of No Doubt's stuff. Pretty much anything before "Rock Steady" came out. That was kind of an off-putting album.

I also occasionally listening to The Cardigans and Heart.

They are! Which I why I said "maybe." I do like some of their less electronicy songs- they seem to have skill, but just bad taste and decisions in music making half the time.

UGH! Smite you! Arkansas' attempt to rip off the European Goth Metal movement! Stay AWAY from Evanescence.

Try - Within Temptation, Nightwish or Lacuna Coil Chicks are hotter and sing better.
