before I post this, I just want to acknowledge that most of you are probably going to try and scare me into thinking I have uber-cancer or something. Now that I have that out of the way, onto the post.

Ok, so around 30 minuets ago my vein on the right side of my neck started to throb. It throbbed 2 or 3 times, and then stopped. Then I started feeling this pain in the same area (not like horribly painful pain, like mild discomfort pain).

Can anyone tell me why this happened?

It may just be twitching. Tendons around the area may tighten up and become loose real fast over a short period of time.

I actually don't know

Sorry mate, you have UBER CANCAR!!!1!11!

Somebody had to do it.

But really, I wouldn't worry about it- it doesn't seem serious. If it continues, however, you may want to see a doctor.

I'd love to hear from you. :3 | E-Mail: evansweeney@gmx.com | AIM: EvantheDeku

I'm sure it's the actual veins pulsating, and it's not a nice feeling.

It's just a tic.

It's a semi-voluntary reaction.

Sleep on it, it'll go away.

I had that once, as well as having it in several other spots on my body. I asked my doctor about it and they said it was nothing to worry about.

It did go away, and I haven't had it happen since.

I get a throbbing vein sometimes three to four times a day, it helps to just rub it out.
