Thing is, Most users that have no to little flash and audio talent like meh :( will barely get any viewers. Just like mah Freewebs and Myspace Page. The most people i've had is at least 10. I'm poor anyways.

i have a game with almost 80,000 views but its classed as 'Adult, Excessive Nudity, Mild Adult Themes ' does that mean it wont earn me any revinue?

I'm up to a nickle now. Might as well drop out of school and sit here on the forums all day.

Ok but how often is newgrounds trying to get different ads?
Because if its the same ad over and over, someone who has clicked on it no longer has reason to

The one difference i've seen is that i no longer see any ads but instead just a message that says "Bad Request (Request Header Too Long)" and no link to follow.

I might not make it rich, but I make no promises about staying school. :P

Unrelated, but who would I talk to if I have a question about the Pico Day Preloader that supposedly runs Flash Ads inside it? I watch it with ctrl+enter and the only error message is that there is a missing "ID". I suppose that means all that I have left to do is enable Flash Ads when I submit the movie or did I skip a step?

ive had over 1000 views on my game since this revenue thingy started so y i still got 0.00? :( is it cuz its classed under 'Adult' rating?
also what about these noobs who post loads crappy vids onto the portal everyday, will they b makin loads money for spamming the portal? cuz thats rubbish if thats how it works.

Can like you still make a little cash even if you don't have flash or any audio,i'm still in the dark about this whole thing and i still don't understand why all the ads disappered on me,if somebody can explain that would be nice.

yup, it tracks impressions from your userpage, audio pages and flash pages regardless of if you are using the Flash Api in your own flashes. Basically there's a counter checking out how many impressions you get on pages attributed to your username.

So, even people who don't have any audio or flash submission still have a few cents.

But you won't get a check until you reach $50, which for most people who dont have flash will take a very long time if for example they only make 5 cents every couple of months from visits to their userpage.

Signed up. I think it's a good idea and very fair, GJ guys. I also like the fact it's $50 and not something nigh-on unreachable like $100.

Rev share should include topic creators. I found that this rev share is almost impossible to make anything unless you make awesome flashes, music, or you are super popular. I myself currently do not have flash(maybe this summer I hope) have just started making music(it sounds really bad right now)and am not popular. Now the only thing I have really been able to do is make successful threads with over 3 pages. Now every time someone clicks a thread they are exposed to an ad why not include threads in rev share so how many views you get the more the thread creator gets. Now the only way to make this work is if you fix the glitch so that I register 0 views when I check my thread and so that people only register 1 view for every 24 hours so you can not inflate the thread views and cheat newgrounds out of money. To compensate for this you could also add flash adds to the side when viewing the forums.(now this would only include threads made after this takes effect not before)Also to stop spammers if a thread is deleted all the views that that topic got would not go towards rev share.

I've made$6.20 so far..... but my stuff doesn't get many views... I think it's definitely better to make games though.. cuz then you can at least post these flash games on other flash portals and make money that way.

This might be the incentive to unpload flash for me.

Really? That's a bit of a surprise.

I mean the ads at the bottom of the pages are obviously failures, but the ads at the top of the page below "Flash portal, Audio portal, etc." seem like the kind of ad that would be successful because of all the slip-up clicks.

Is this just in case money ever becomes really tight or something?

I'd like to know what the point of having this in the terms and conditions is for, I mean if you guys wanted you guys could remove the forums and flash portal without warning or explaining yourself.

The revenue sharing system gives you money from the adverts on the page.

Like the banner advert at the top and bottom of the page, the advert under the voting buttons and the adverts underneath the submission itself when users choose to play in a pop-up window.

You don't have to do anything to your flash, just sign up to the sharing system and reap the benefits of being a good artist (or not, as the case may be).

You have the OPTION of using the Flash API system, which DOES add an advert to the start of your flash movie or game, and will also give you some money, however this is not necessary.

You will get a cheque (or paypal payment) once you have earned more than $50, so for the most popular flash and audio artists this could be a nice bonus income, for unpopular slobs like myself we'll be lucky to pick up a few cents here and there.
