When you are in a room alone at night and there is a closet door open, do you ever get the feeling that something will jump out and come after you when the lights are off? I have had this feeling for as long as I can remember...

No, I'm not six years old anymore. I was scared about that shit when I was young, and I was scared to sleep without the blanket wrapped around my head in a way, I thought a monster would stab my ears with a pencil. And I wouldn't turn to the other side of me while in bed, I was afraid there was something next to me waiting for me to turn so that it could kill me.

I was super afraid of something coming out of my wardrobe to kill me when I was a gnome, so I closed it every night.

Only after watching about an hours worth of "Ghost Proof" videos on youtube and other websites. I know they don't exist, but I can't stop myself from imagining them jumping out at me from dark corners. Especially the Haunted Hospital one. I couldn't shake the image of "The Red Thing" from my mind for almost a week...
