So here it is. It's made out of a sweet dumpling bread, to which the recipe is a secret I must die with for the sake of my family, it's tasty and sweet and very delicious. This is it raw, it's cooking right now, but I doubt it will be as pretty because it will get crispy and even more delicious when built. The pink is cherry flavoured, the brown is chocolate.

Man, the standards have risen incredibly since I last posted in here. I may actually have to give a shit about my attempt tommorow.

come on... the CC is totaly edible.. the fork is just a finishing touch... its like when they put cocktailsticks in burgers to stop them falling apart... its like a meal with the cutlery included!... i like that one... its very clean cut... i feel the level of effort is rising... like bead in an oven... ... i think i got away with that pun... ciao

I know, I'm not criticizing it at all. I just thought it was funny that instead of making a weapon out of dough like the rest of the CC she decided to give him a fork.

I'm hoping that mine will be 100% eatable, and not only that, but yummy too. If my calculations are correct, it should be able to stand on it's own.

Made from cakemix, eggs and milk. Oh, and powder sugar, red colouring (EDIBLE) and water.

The cake is the best one I've ever made, but I'm not entirely happy about the face. Oh well.

I've finished mine! It took about 2-3 hours, Joe's help, and lots of love.

The head and little accent pieces are fondant I dyed pink with red food coloring and the body as well as the shield are made of marzipan with a fondant cover. The arms and legs are marzipan and the lines and eyes are all little pieces of black jack.

Here are some pictures of it being built. The first one is of the ingredients, the dyed fondant, the marzipan with fondant on it and all that. The second one is before all the arms and legs were added and before the shield was built and the last one shows just before the black jacks were put on.

It's currently living in the fridge, I can't bring myself to eat it...

(eat me... eat me) it will squeek... and you will ludge forward and tackel the knight in a fantastic display of mawling teeth and chewing... then deny ever doing it and say he was stolen... lol.. ciao

This thing looks amazing up close IRL. You did a sweet job, Jen! Everything about that pink CC is truly edible.

I, too, did attempt to make one, and it was going well, but I just didn't have the heart or the patience to finish it.
