Oh wait...
Hahaha, if you've got the talent, we've got the guts!

Sorry, I'm not really eloquent enough to say what I'm trying to say.
Newgrounds truly is an amazing website for creative people.
You're plenty eloquent. This is a fantastic hub for all imaginations to be seen and heard. Your points about Newgrounds not yet finding global recognition stem from the fact that what is popular here often overwhelms people's concepts of what our best minds can ultimately achieve.
As projects like the Storybook Collab start to give inventive creators a bigger voice,
users will be able to choose and personalise their content to a greater degree.
That should allow the definition of popular content to change, and to accept different styles.
It's true, we can provoke controversy as many artists are wont to do, but with the right direction we can also provoke thought, and hopefully inspire others to seek originality in their work.
Either way, we'll get people talking.

I also think the story book collab sounds good, I might want to join.
I hope you will, and I hope it lets you demonstrate and improve your skills. It's only through interest and excitement that we can improve the Collab. More people means more stories, more critiques on stories, more talents to collab with, and a bigger audience for the final output. It's all good.

This project will likely be the first of many... there are plenty of old and new stories that would be good material for a follow-up collaboration, once the entries from this edition show what the concept can deliver. If you enter now, you'll have more time to work on your story for the next one, as well as gather talented people who'll also have more time to understand your project and work to your needs.
Please sign up while you're enthusiastic, as that's doubtless the best time to pour out your ideas.
Trust me, I know.
