3.80 / 5.00 4,200 ViewsOkay, I bet we have all been through this at least once.
We see a thread about a stuff you know a lot about it, but yet you go and do a lot of research for your facts and maybe more. And spend a lot on times on it, planning on how you will write it down, how you will get to people, and do more research, and then finally type it down, double check for spelling mistakes, and... DUN DUN DUN! You press post.
A while have passed, you keep pressing F5, and still no one replied to your post.
Maybe it is because not so many people is online you may think, but no. You check back tomorrow, and still no one. You bump that guy's thread, you check back later, there have been a few more posts in the thread. Maybe someone replied to your post. You click it, and you see that your post have been ignored.... forever.
You then give up and go back to bed.
You know what would be really neat? These things actually being noticeable.
Which is why you should never waste effort on the internet. Just let it flow and save dissertations for school.
I've never had any myself, but I have seen this happen in threads. I always think, "I'd respond myself if I knew what the hell it is they're talkin' about." But I usually don't.
I don't go exploring the internet for a post. All you really have to do is be funny and people mmight give it a little recognition.
Can you see this? Probably not. Douche.

No, thats phantoms.
I get that a lot, and I am not sadden by it. I mostly go unnoticed in many many threads. I am used to it, not a popular user I guess lol.
This too will pass.
Memento mori
I thought phantasm meant phantom cum.
Make sure they see your post. Nag the fuck out of them going "Didya see my post? ANSWER IT!!!" over and over again.
(I do that on a few forums, lelz)

Thats nothing to proud of noob.
i dont really mind when people dont reply to me
i do like it when people do and then i get to see what people thought about what i said, but i am not heartbroken when people dont reply
i have pretty much given up on making threads though, they usually dont go to well

I notice you.
Yeah, I'm a bit pissed off when that happens. It oftentimes seems that people are just trying to reply to regs/mods/popular users.
I also hate it when people reply to someone who has said the same thing as you after you did.
I don't post for peoples approval and I don't care if no one notices, I just post because.

I don't do it much. I only do it when I'm the only one who posts something on a thread, then people just post "wtf wut do we do omfg" then go around acting like total douches.
I basically never make threads, but I hate it when I make a post and nobody responds. I'm an attention whore like that, and I always try and get the first post no matter what the thread is.
Just because nobody replied, doesn't mean nobody noticed it.
The sig that I'm wearin? Awesomely made by Skaren!
Also, I like annoying Americans by calling English football "real football" and American football "rugby".-Lost-Chances
Happens to me a lot. I often end threads as well.
I'll probably end this one..

Yep, I guess this thread is over now. :I
Doesn't really bug me. It's not like I respond to every post that gives me some sort of new or relevant information so chances are, even if no one is responding, somebody has seen it. Still, even if twelve people responded to my post telling me it was the greatest thing they ever read, in about a week they and I will have forgotten that the post ever existed so it doesn't really matter all that much.
Happy with what you have to be happy with
you have to be happy with what you have
to be happy with you have to be happy with what you have
I don't care if people don't see my posts.
wake up sheeple
Meh, i usually go unnoticed but i usually get replies from my post.
YESSSSS...
Most of the time it's because its too long xD
I'd rather be an unnoticed bystander.

You should care on some level. I mean, most of us are here to have some sort of conversation and not to read our own posts and jack-off to how clever and brilliant we are. I'll look back onto recent posts to see if there's a thread of conversation that might starting from it, but if nothing has come of it, it's no big deal.

I imagine that if I didn't have a yellow aura, even less people would bother reading my posts, let alone replying to them.
It's kind of good and bad.
Like bad, if you posted something totally analytical in the middle of an argument, and the guy doesn't respond. Do I win, or what, or are you just ignoring me?
It can be good, you dodge all the possible flaming that could be aimed at the post.
ambition and procrastination don't mix
It's not a problem with me, if I see they stopped posting there or whatnot I guess that they read it then, they don't need to reply to let you know they love you.
sadly.....
I go unnoticed, but who cares anyways?
