About The Future Collab
I've looked around the Flash forum and saw there was no Futuristic collab. I've started this collab because the idea seemed great and there's a lot of creativity that could be put into this.

Rules
* No Stick Figures -- Sprites are OK but they CAN NOT be Mario, DBZ, or Sonic.
* Your part must have some thought-up fantasy of what you imagine the future would be like whether it's the same or all technical with robots and other machines.
* No Nudity
* Must be at least 15 seconds and at most 35 seconds
* Blood, gore, and deaths are allowed but they must be at least semi-humorous
* You are allowed in from the time you sign up until the time you show me your part which is when I decide if your in or not.
* Failure to show me your part at least a week after the checkup day means you are out.
* Name your Graphics and Movie Clips with yourname_piece. E.g. EJR_CharacterStand
* You can have sound effects and music in your parts

* 25 FPS
* Default Size [550x400]
* Actionscript 2.0
* Flash CS3 OR Flash 8 Format -- It honestly doesn't matter but Flash 8 is incase I use Flash on my Laptop
* BG: Black

Important Dates
* Due Date: July 18, 2009
* Checkup Date (Date when all parts must have a short preview): May 23, 2009

Sci-fi with no cohesive element? That is VERY open ended. Just about as open ended as saying "make a part about the present".

Well there's a lot of stuff about the present that could be put into a Flash animation so I guess it's pretty much unlimited for ideas.

This seems pretty interesting. Lots of ideas could be used. I don't know if I will have time for it though :(

the collab's theme is pretty opende- there could be everything- Battle with robots, escape from flying laboratory etc etc... It's a big choice for themes. i MAYBE in, but i am pretty busy so i don't know...

ok but isn't a couple seconds a weak time limit also it only said make it atleast semi-humorous that's too broad like you haven't said is it an action or comedy

Maybe... I MIGHT join... but there's no guarantee. I'm just worried because the last collab i tried to join my .fla file got screwed up and i had to quit after all that hard work....

Hey guys. My part is coming swimmingly. I just need to color my character, add a background, add details, and then add some other effects and then I'm done. Hopefully mine will be 15 seconds by the time I'm fully done.

Yes I'm drawing it. I quit sprites a while ago. If your fan character isn't Mario / Sonic / DBZ related then yes you can use it.

It really isn't because I'm doing such a short part but I might have to add a walking sequence to make it longer which will kill me because I've never done a proper walking sequence in Flash before.
