Zac Efron

Alright people, I'm not here to bitch about Zac Efron, if you want to do that go elsewhere. However I'm here to give him a chance.

Zac Efron was a nobody, was put in High School Musical, and became a somebody. Has anyone here watched High School Musical? You know what it was? Just a Disney Channel original movie that was given the same opening that movies like Smart House and Halloweentown were given. It wasn't supposed to be a success and it was something that was shitted out for Disney to collect on a small buck or two.

I will say that High School Musical was nothing more than a modern day Grease. High School Musical isn't a bad movie, however it is overrated and did not deserve this much attention.

Zac Efron however is a great dancer and singer and thus was casted in Hairspray, which I believe is a great movie and underrated. However this is about Zac Efron.

I am glad that Zac Efron pulled out of the remake of Footloose, chances are he is tired of being a singing dancing money monkey, which I don't blame him.

With his new movie 17 Again coming out, I only ask that we give him a chance. He's not a bad actor.

You won't change anything because there has never been any rational critique against him. 95% of the time (gotta love made up statistics) the reason behind the arguments has been, simply put, unconscious jealousy for his quick and prosperous success and popularity.

This probably applies to many other young stars, with some exceptions, as always.

Sure, they may be a bit overrated and manipulated. But that's because they have talent to exploit.
