What defines happiness in my life?
A positive emotional response.
How do i know if i am truly happy?
If I feel it. It's true. But what I think you intend by this question is, "how do I know if I am truly affirmed in a positive manner?"
As with most things, you can only be at most relatively certain. The best way to determine if you are truly happy is to contextualize your life with a set of major goals or set of things most important to you.
How do i know if i even really experienced happiness, and my idea of happiness is skewed?
Some things are hard wired. [&] It is skewed.
What can I do to obtain this, happiness?
Do things that... make me happy.
What must i do to obtain happiness?
'Know thyself' as a creature of (cognitive) dissonance.
If i were to remove any distraction from my life, and isolate myself, would i really be happier?
Distractions from or in? You can't be distracted from your life.
If i were to change the way i look at life, would i be happier?
Once again. Do you intend to ask what would make me happy or what would affirm me? Because affirmation is not necessarily happiness.
Not to mention that it is highly dependent on the new outlook, how I feel once I've gotten used to it.
Not to mention, paradigm shifts naturally create stress.
How do i know the love i am in, is truly happiness?
Love? Are you asking if it's true love or if I feel truly happy about any love? What's the difference? Or are we back to talking about affimation?
- because love is largely an affirmational matter
How come i dont smile, even though i believe i'm happy, but am i really happy?
Am I asking myself this about myself or are you asking me this about yourself?
nothing satisfying.
I can take a guess as to why: You've confused happiness with affirmation.
