Southern Florida, nothing but illegal immigrants everywhere. At least, that's according to what my parents saw when they were living in Fort Lauderdale for about 3-4 months. I'd rather not be around people who can't even speak decent english.
Oh man how could I forget Florida. I lived there for about a month, and it completely took the charm away for me. Shanty towns, hicks and crime is everywhere. Essentially everything I hate about America, wrapped up in one giant ball of awful.
I grew up in Gainesville. The worst town to be a kid in. There was a pedophile and several other sex offenders that lived right next door to my grade school. They all love everything Gators, and despise everything with a shadow of originality hiding in a corner behind it. I've heard from the only decent person I ever met there that they all either became emo/scene kids or gangbangers. I moved to Tennessee when I was 12, and I much prefer it here, where everyone is friendly and content with their ignorance of the beauty of their surroundings (deer, trees that bloom in the spring, people who wave when you drive by). There are only two groups of people here, and the groups seem to dissolve in high school: preps, the girls who love overpriced clothes and are somewhat ditsy and the guys who play every kind of sport imaginable, and everyone else, which would be the big group of people who just fit where they can. Band geek, hippie, nerd, goth, it doesn't matter to us. There aren't enough kinds of people here to distinguish yourself from everyone else and still have friends. Despite being boring, it might be for the better.
TL;DR- Florida sucks, and even Tennessee is better than it. Overall worst though, would be some Midwest state in the middle of nowhere, like New Mexico or Oklahoma.
