Fuck up your computer at all? Like is it possible for them to still carry a virus or take info? I remember a long time ago they could and I thought they fixed it, but has someone figured it out? I was watching the [KK] Daft Punk movie in the portal (which is still under judgement) and the whole broswer window closed on me and my anti-virus popped up saying it removed a trojan from my temporary internet files. Is it possible for this to happen anymore through a flash video? Ive only been on NG since I've been online tonight... soooo .. hmmmm...
anyone else wanna try? haha.

Well I just watched it again and nothing has happened, so it must not of been through that particular video. Hmmm... I wonder what else it could of been.

I think yes, I've heard that a flash can even do malicious things to your computer by just watching a bad flash. I won't run the risk, so if somebody else complains about it, feel free to send a PM to an administrator. You can blam the flash (vote 0) for now if you find evidence the flash was the thing that fucked up your PC.

If you're using FF, it'll crash sometimes. Happens every once in a great while, sure, but sometimes it'll just crash and not try to offer a report. Shit happens.

I saw that, so that's good. It was a garbage flash anyway. I didn't only write this to see if it was THAT flash doing it. I was just curious if a flash movie could still give your computer a virus or steal info. Because I knew they could a couple years ago, but I thought it was fixed. So I was asking if it was possible whatsoever.

That sounds suspicious, PM the author and question him and then go to an admin. That shouldn't be happening. Also, why'd you watch it? shit, it would be.

see. flash can always have a virus, because you can make it connect to something on the internet. ever see flash that's 1kb, but it's a full game? that flash is just a link to the other game. also remember the whole, hey <insert your username here>, join the ff! that's also just linking to newgrounds and seeing what your account is logged in as.
so, in short, flash an always have a virus as it can connect to the internet, but accounts and ip's that upload a virus are quickly deleted.

Yup, malicious things can still happen. It's never been anything serious unless you're actually downloading the file, any anti-virus can pick them up, just whistle the movie and be on your way.

I'm the guy that made the flash (I'm not using my main account to post because it's banned, im using an alt because it seems nessisary)
Anyway, I didn't put a virus in the flash, I wouldn't risk getting my account deleted.
I will admit it's a spam flash, but I don't even have enough knowledge to put a virus in a flash.
So, yeah, why'd you flag my flash, butthole it was just about to pass, too.

Yes. In fact I remember reading about one here on NG on by the Star Syndicate where a certain frame in it gave your computer the BOSD. ( Blue Screen of Death )
