Flash download issue.

okay, normally all i would have to do is replace the "view" in a flash's title with "download" and i would get the SWF. version of a flash.

like for example: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/downloa d/381115

but now when i type that i get this shit:

"ERROR - The file you requested could not be found. It's either been moved, never existed, or you've mistyped the URL you were looking for."

this not just my computer, i tryed it on both of mind and it didn't work.

and this is not a new problem, this has been going on for weeks, maybe months.

so whats going on? did i mis-spell something? is downloading broken? am i going crazy?

please help me out.

If you're trying to download the .swf file:

Go to the flash you want to open

open it

right click out side of the flash (on the black border)

Click view page info

go to media

scroll down til you see the embed one, it should be that one.

click save as, and you have the file.

thats not really downloading the .SWF so much as viewing it.

you might aswell view the normal version.

One of the admins probably blocked it, so it makes it a bit harder to steal them.

I've been using the page view method forever, though.

While newgrounds acknowledges that people take flash movies of this site, we don't encourage it and its still theft. The creators of the flash movies uploaded them here and only gave permission for them to be hosted here. Please don't download the movies.
