That your life was just a dream? That you're in a coma? That nothing existed until the "day" you were born?

I mean, there's much to prove these thoughts false but it's a very curious idea I'd say. How are you supposed to prove that you're not "dreaming?"

Actually, this is kind of funny. I sometimes get these weird perspectives that I'm the only one on the planet, and that everyone else is just a hallucination. It's scary to think about, that if this were true, you are interacting with yourself on a day to day basis and everything else was just a clever apparition of your imagination.

Though, this could just be some subconscious thought that makes me seem like a narcissist... :P

It's something interesting to think about, I've been there myself.

Especially the bit on what could be a hallucination and what isn't. Take the movie "A Beautiful Mind" for example. I think it does a really good job of showing how vivid and believable hallucinations can be. It might be irrational, but sometimes you can't help but ask what's real and what's fantasy.

you see, when i was like 4, i fell asleep at my babysitters house at night and woke up in my own bed in the morning with no knowledge of how i got there. if this is a coma, i am very creative

It happens sometimes, and almost always on a shitty day. Near the end of the day, I'll be thinking about the day's ups and downs. I'll be wondering how good or bad of a day I've just had, and a thought will smash it's way to the front of my mind; how insignificant everything I do truly is. How all my problems, aspirations (Got that word from The Sims :P ), and fears mount to nearly nothing in the grand scale of things. It's depressing and somewhat funny. Because no matter how bad I f*ck up, at least the world will keep on turning.

I've had moments where I think I might be in a dream and everything is weird for a moment and I feel odd to be alive at times, if that's what you mean.
