I almost broke my bro's Laptop

I wanted to show him how good daemon tools is , I use it on my PC and no problem.His laptop has Vista , I entered the Daemon tools install kit and then....BLUE SCREEN!!!!I almost fainted when i saw that , then my bro accesed a program that poped-up to repair windows
Now the laptop is fine , my bro almost broke my arm , the only thing that got deleted is WOW TBC , but he reinstalled it and now the Laptop works fine

Is windows Vista allways so crappy?Left4Dead crashes on my bro's laptop and at me(Windows XP) works fine , and we used the same kit
Windows Vista can't use IPX/SPX protocol and this means no RA2 or any other old games in multyplayer
Windows Vista sayed the first week "are you sure" at all programs....very annoyng
My bro can't use thje printer with his Laptop cause it can't support Vista X|

Conclusion:Windows Vista sucks...what do you think?

There are literally hundreds of possible causes of what you described. It might have been Vista; it might not have.

Well, I have heard that the lower editions of Vista (namely Home Basic and Home Premium) aren't that great; they're real performance hogs with no real advantage over XP. But the higher levels, especially the 64-bit versions, are apparently better than XP Professional.

Although I have to admit, I have had a few compatability issues with my edition of Home Premium, even after all these updates.

Old games won't (probaly) run on vista, new/modern games can (mostly) ((L4D is an exception because it is fucking unstable... BUT I LOVE IT!)). Just because you can run games 9on vista doesnt make them better, actually vista takes more power to run so is generally worse for gaming... EXCEPT if you are playing games that use Direct X 11 which is vista only...

SO: Vista for Directx10 games is good, for anytihng else its bad... don't ask me questions, I understand the very basics only.
