What's the longest you stayed up?

I'm sure a lot of you are night dwellers, but what is the longest you've ever gone straight without sleep. After a few days you start getting delirious, start tripping out. I'm kind of a noob, 3 1/2 days here.
What about you guys?

Only one night for me, Shortly after I crashed in my bed. I am not that strong when it comes to staying awake for long periods of time.

That is pretty unhealthy, at the most if I'm pressured to get homework in at the last minute ill stay up for a day.

Why, there's a chance I may not be able to sleep tonight. It'll be 24 hours at 6:30 AM, but more than likely I'll sleep.

Longest I've been awake, about 38 hours before I had to nap. I ended up feeling so tired it wasn't funny.

Yeah, sounds like impending delirium. You literally begin to hallucinate and go insane after a few days. When I was on my third night I started to hear distant voices, freaked me the fuck out. I just went "Oh fuck this." and went right to sleep.

Some people who've tried to beat records have gone well over a week witout sleeping, friends and family said a lot of them were never the same afterwards. Your mind isn't something to fuck with, usually fucks you back 10 times harder.

I know this one kid who smoked a nightshade plant, which temporarely make you delirious for a few hours. As in you hallucinate and talk to people who aren't there, and can't distinguish your tripping from reality. Usually used by idiots who can't get their hands on shrooms or acid or something. He became long-term psychotic afterwards. Now he takes meds and has episodes sometimes. It's fucked up man.

I didn't sleep for about 3 days once I was suffering from Insomnia. I hated it because I love sleeping. One of my favourite pastimes.

it didn't work out too good, I couldn't stay still for fear of falling asleep but I had lost all my coordination and almost fell over pretty badly a few times.
a few hours after school I couldn't do it for any longer and I just crashed.
was to get an assignment done.
couldn't work on it because I couldn't think straight.

Around 28-30 hours. I cherish sleep too much now due to a busier schedule that I'll never willingly stay up later, or even as late as that.

20 hour days max for me now... and that's still too little sleep. But when you gotta get shit done, you gotta get it done. :/
