well most of the people who wanted a DS..already have one. so.. why waste more money buying another DS that replacing one of it's best features.. for a fucking camara.

seriously, wtf happened to nintendo?! what happened to the good ole' days with super nintendo and N64? Even capcom doesnt want their games on their systems any more (or atleast are very reluctant). Rare is ashamed of themselves. Square Enix said "fuck that". Come on people, wake up and smell the coffee, the greatest thing about nintendo is dead!

I bought DSI yesterday, and i think its awesome, im actually using it right now :D I dont care that it wont have GBA slot, i use real GBA to play GBA games. And the prize isnt so bad... but this is just what i think.

And even if I wanted a game that I don't have, I'd sooner buy the cartridge for the comfort of physical ownership than download it on the DSi, just to have it brick, break or get stolen.
Downloadable games are a sham, especially if you can access the physical game easily.

I'm not getting the DSi because I still have my original DS which still works perfectly and it doesn't offer anything new that interests me. Also, the fact that the DSi doesn't have a GBA slot really puts me off and there are GBA games I still wish to play from time to time.

imo psp is better.

PSP is the winner. It's better for one reason, and only one reason. The PSP can play UMDs. The DS cannot. Let me show you. I pulled the UMD out of the Sony. There is no slot in the Nintendo DS for it. It won't work or go in!!! Thankfully there is a slot on the PSP for my UMD.

If Sony wants any kind of share of the market, they have to design their products to accept the UMDs. I mean, seriously. Shame on you Nintendo

Cause America loves their GBA titles. I don't need to worry about that since I have about for ways to play GBA games already and I don't need a 5th. The only reason I'm not buying a DSi is one thing, money. I have other things I would to own before even consider getting a DSi; also I just got a Lite last year. I'll wait a little longer until the library for the DSi expands and it's not all about camera and music.

UMD's are Sony's way of saying "our games are so shit, that we need to fall back on licensed movies to help boost sales for our handheld."

But, the thing is, that there are a lot of great games for the PSP. Like Resistance, Metal Gear Acid, Final Fantasy: Crisis Core and... uh... Loco Roco.
They're all classics, in their own way.

All DS has is Pheonix Wright, Trauma Center, New Super Mario Bros., Phantom Hourglass, Point Blank DS, Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, Resident Evil: Deadly Silence, Chinatown Wars, Advance Wars, Fire Emblem, Animal Crossing, Bangai-O Spirits, Bleach: the Blade of Fate, Meteos, Mario Kart, Dragon Quest IX and a bunch of Pokemon games.

A few opinions in this thread. But yes the GBA slot mainly i just hope Nintendo bring out a new DS version exactly like the DSi but it has a GBA slot then their sales will rocket.

You are both fucking morons. I was using sarcasm to make fun of PSP fanboys, and to talk about how shitty the PSP is. I have one (my sister bought it). I played it for a few hours. I played it and all of the games I have for a couple of hours. I played one DS game for more than 20 hours.

Just like most cellphones out there. So what if it has a camera and is somewhat wider, if we already have a DS, why would we want to buy something that has a camera on it? Most people have digital cameras anyways.

Who the hell cares if there is no GBA slot, they're are much more features to make up for it, and you won't think it is cool, because it is really cool, and you should think so too.

No GBA Slot? Well that's bullshit... I doubt most of us play our GBA games on our DS' anyways, when we can use a GAMEBOY Player on the GAMECUBE or our Game Boy Advances or SP's, unless some dumbasses gave/traded those away.

Other than that though, what cool features are on their besides TWO CAMERAS ORGASMIC AWWW.
