What it sounds lie is that you're tre fla you've savedying to upload the .fla. Firstly, open up the fla you've saved, and press Ctrl+Enter to open the .swf preview. In doing this, you've now saved the .swf version as well. Go to the upload page on NG, and when browsing, choose the .swf file (the one with the wite F next to it, if I remember correctly).

This might be a stupid question, but I feel like I need to ask: Are you making these games yourself? Because I've got a hard time seeing how you could when you don't know how to export it.

I was just thinking the same thing. It sounds like you've never even used flash before, so how could you of already made a game?

Fail. If you made the game in Flash, hit Ctrl+Enter while in the Flash file, then go to the folder where the file is located, and next to the red file should be an identical file with a blue Flash icon. That's the SWF. If you're using Game Maker, Scratch, or another program, no can do buddy.
This link doesn't do anything.

I don't understand how you don't get the difference between a .fla and a .swf. But anyway, a .fla file will have red colored icon and is the file you can open up to edit your flash. The .swf is the movie itself. You must upload the .swf, so either press ctrl+enter to create a .swf version, or if you would like to be smart, compress your movie by going to file -> export and reduce and change the movie settings to get a smaller file size.
