how do i make one pattern or channel fade into another?

using FL studio 8...
searched the web, but can't find anything.

also whats the best software to manipulate my voice so it won't sound like me in anyway?

a cool voice for vocals in other words.

Well i know two thing you cant do, use a Vocoder like BlurrySound said or use AutoTune to make the T-pain type of effect, it basicly pushes your voice to a note, like you cant sing a really high not, it helps you sing that high but it sounds diffrent, more robotic.

Use automation clips. Make two of them. One for one channel and one for the other. Then have one fade out as the other one fades in.

he said he wanted a "cool voice for vocals..." not a singing tool. There is a vocoder in FL studio and you should be able to combine presets and your voice.
