Mario Mayham - Need Programmer

I'm looking for a programer for this plaformer/side-scroller/beat em' up type of game. You're mario, and you go around not jumping on enemies, but picking up weapons. Their not sprites, but I've drawn them myself. I really want a proffesional programmer, and I will of course do all the art work and such. But I just need a programmer who is up for the job and can handle doing something like this. I need the best of the best from NG, because this is a very complicated project.

50/50 I guess. It only makes sense, how else would I do it?

Give some artwork as an incentive. The only reason that the "best of the best" would want to work with you, is because you are the "best of the best" at art. If you really want someone that good, you're going to have to absolutely blow people away with your art. I looked at your art (profile and previous posts), and although it does look fairly decent, it's not up to the highest standards, so if you want someone that good, either continue practicing, or possibly lower your own standards. You could still pull off a pretty good game with a semi-decent programmer.

Fancy that, I need a programmer for a similar project as well. Though I want the project to remain a secret, I wouldn't be able to show artwork :(

I've got to go to bed, because I have to wake up early tomorrow, but hereare some of the graphics I've been working on. Their still early in the works and all that, but that is what i've got so far. I wasn't trying to say that I needed the BEST programmer, but that this was a complicated system that I want it to be, with combos, and all that shit. but yeah, discuss for tonight newgrounds and ai'll be back on 2morow.

I've already seen that. That doesn't answer over half of my questions and satisfactions for the game.

Also, just a heads up, lots of sponsors and such won't like going for things with copyrighted characters in them. You may want to think up your own

Also, linking a not-particulatly-good tutorial isn't all that constructive :/ There are plenty of good resources on NG if you're learning to code (AS:Main should still be around somewhere) which don't just tell you to copy and paste stuff, and don't just tell you to use a V-Cam (probably the most counter-productive thing you can tell someone who's just learning to code for themselves to do).

I'd rip into it further if I had time. I hate people throwing around bad advice >.<

I was thinking the same thing when i first posted. Unless anybody wants the spot, I'm dropping thsi game and starting a new one. Any last dibs?
