Hmm, now that the deadline is extended, I might aswell make good use of the time I have.

My main issue with my entry is the background design, and the rushed typography. Before I get straight to work, I'd like any advice on how I can improve this (No, I WONT strip the girl).

I just looked through the finished product thread, and there is some pretty great stuff in there. I still can't draw on my computer for crap, specially since my tablet went off and died on me. Now I have to buy a new one, might as well upgrade to a intuos

A gray background can be tough, unless you've got a *really* sharp foreground character that you want to emphasize, as is done in black&white portrait photography a lot. But it's particularly tough to pull off in a pop-art style poster.

What about trying some color/contrast in there in place of the gray?

its not your composition, its the face.
Your eyes eyebrow and mouth should be the most important part.
no matter how good a piece is, if the face is off, the whole thing suffers

Just work on your eyes mostly, Think of it like...what do you want to express.

also have the pupils look at you for a personal feel, or have them look in the opposite direct the head is turned for a more dynamic look

either way your entry's are good, just need work on the making the face more expressive and less "shocked" look

I like the event idea.

Maybe enlarge your figure slightly (by figure, I mean the entire chick, not just her body.. to clarify!), it could work better to have her taking up more of the page as you have a lot of room around her that isn't being used - and those flowers just aren't cutting the mustard!

her foot is stumpy and very very short. there were lots of things wrong with her anatomy her breasts too low, abdominal muscles dont go that low into her hmm hmm but you covered that up with the pink dress...so for now i guess the only thing is the right leg.

Ooh nice, I like the lighting on the back of her hair and the colors in general. She might need a bit more shadow under her arm

It hasnt has it :S? It says on Mindchambers site, that his still working on the artowk for Pico 2, and theres no Pico 2 game when i search for it in the search engine thing at the top.

I decided to do a miniposter for Endless Zombie Rampage 2 by Diseased Productions (intended to come to Newgrounds later this month). Unfortunately, some douchebag decided to post the game to the flash portal without permission and I'm not sure whether it will actually be reposted by Weasel (author of the game). <_>
