i guess thats true but weren't there a number of the HD contests where you take a game sprite and make it higher quality?
what happened to those anyway? those were the first artworks i saw a couple years back and made me join the forum so i could join in hehe but fight after i joined they stopped :(.... guess to make way for better contests?

Have you thought about running it by the official Newgrounds types? They might be interested in incorporating it somehow, it IS all about promoting Newgrounds after all!

Man, i'm such a lazy asshole, i always do this....start on a submission for some art or flash competition and leave it half way through...i have no self motivation :(

Well there's comments on the winners on my page.

Basically I was looking for 3 things:

- How hot the babe was
- How stylished you made it
- How professional it looked ( i.e. anatomy, coloring, fonts )

If your style was well done enough ( BizarroJoe, Scandalous ) then it didn't matter if your anatomy was off, as long as it all fit well.
Most of the winners could fit straight into the book I own, no doubt.
