p.s. if anyone is wondering: I asked Kassar, DooDooMeaT and CosmicDeath to make images so that's why they posted so fast.
There's going to be like 30 images total in the book, so that means probably around 25 winners.

Use any program you want.
Don't hand-draw the fonts though. Unless you're really fucking amazing at drawing fonts by hand.

But if you're not a 50 year old guy worked for design catalogs in the 70s and 80s, chances are that you should just use a computer for that :p

Also; it sounds to me like there are quite a few whiners loitering around the art forum that need to suck it up and get some drawing practice in rather than waiting for things to be handed to them on a plate.

Easy contests are stupid. What's the point of making an easy art contest? Or an easy contest? That doesn't even mean anything. How can a contest be easy? It's only easy if you're better than everyone else. It's not the contest that matters. Blah.

totally agree, then again all you ever draw is catalogue chicks, so this statement doesnt pertain to you atm :3
Personally I wouldve liked it if we had to do matinee type movie posters, and basically draw popular NG characters in a movie poster type fashion.
But this is just as challenging, so its fine.

In the rules you mention no use of photography. I'm going to assume this means no using just straight up pictures real chicks, which of course makes total sense. The part that I am confused about is...
... are we allowed to draw by hand, then scan or take a pic of it and rework it in some digital format, or does there even have to be any digital format at all? (besides text obviously, because who the fuck wants to see handwritting.)
