I just hate the character, he annoys the hell out of me. His damned high pitched voice and saying BELIEVE IT every two fucking seconds drives me nuts. The only time he doesn't bother me is in the nine tails, or whatever it is, form. I hate the fans just for liking it, not for what they do. They can dress up all they want cosplay doesn't bother me

People hate it because it was turned into American shit. They got a shit actor and cut all the bloody scenes. Naruto was the shit - IN JAPANESE - until about ep 134 - 135.

I've been reading the manga lately, and I gotta say, it's a lot better than the anime. Less filler and less general stupidity. Though Sasuke is still an emo moron who ceased being a likable antagonist pretty much on his first appearance.

Yeah, America tends to do that all to often. Like in Pokemon. one banned episode was when ash got a gun pointed to his head. and then ended up shooting a team rocket member.

Hmm I don't know what yous are smoking but Naruto is great. It's freaking awesome. I have to admit at the beginning when I wasn't into watching it, when my friends just started I thought it was stupid with a little kid who runs around his city doing stupid shit. But eventually I realized later after the introduction episodes, the main story is really nice.

I watch it in English subs, I refuse to watch dubbed because it sounds bloody horrible and all the swearing and violence is cut out. So sad... Mmmm that's american translations for ya. -.-

All the characters sound stupid in dubbed. Eng subs is he best.

And when you get to shippuden it gets even better because then everyones mature and it's more to our audience. The anime grew with the time period, which is pretty cool.

Hate it or love it. I don't care it's great. :P Same goes with Bleach. Don't get me started.

no it wasn't. it was still stupid and just as annoying. people hate Naruto because he is a little shit that has everything turn out good for him no matter what, and every time he gets into a "battle" (if you can call it that) he gets the shit beaten out of him(and i laugh), but then is like "oh teh noes! i caynt lewse noaw! buyt wayt! i fowgawt thayt supah move sensay tawt mey!" and then he wins. it is written horribly(like most anime exceptions would be death note and fullmeatal alchemist) but it's even worse because every character is a little shit, or a total emo fagot.

I like the show, watch new episodes every friday when it airs in Japan, I just grab the raw from whoever is streaming it in highest quality. It's long and drawn out and is likely to come to an end soon, but the storyline is okay enough to stick with. Though i'd never be able to walk into an anime convention, hang out with the anime club, or wear a naruto headband pussydeflector for holloween simply because the anime community freaks me the fuck out. I do also watch other anime targeted to more mature audiences, and enjoy discussing them with people who actually have a brain. But the people who take it too seriously really do ruin the vibe.

I tend to like a lot of anime , but Naruto is pretty much garbage. The main character is a borderline homo-sexual .... "I'm gonna bring Sasuke back to me no matter what , Believe It!" .

The other characters are too generic and I would probably estimate that about 4/7th of the episodes are filler , or it feels like it at least.

Naruto is a terrible anime/manga in any language/dub. The show is so mediocre in every aspect, I don't know why people are dumb enough to waste their time on it. Seriously, there's a whole bunch of decent anime out there, you just have to look past what the general public likes.

I don't really bother to watch most Shonen anime besides One Piece, Bio Boosted Armor Guyver, and an assorted bunch of classics.

If I watch anime or read manga, it has to impress me, both artistically and storyline wise.

One Piece just blow the competition out of the water, Oda is pretty damn cool.

It's put in action shows like naruto to make it more interesting to watch, like "how is naruto ever going to over come this?" or "will naruto ever grow up?". Unlike Bleach or DBZ
