woah, seriously. they didnt sell out or anything. if you read their post before, theyve been trying to get to china for a while. aside from that, making money WHILE getting more viewers isn't wrong. he didn't abandon us or ditch us. he didnt block the US. We are just including more people. Is that so wrong? If you were in china, wouldnt you want to view this site?

For everyone that worked so hard to put on the truly EPIC April fools day joke, you are my heroes!

I know that was no easy task.
It is really interesting that so many people believed that the site makeover was here to stay, and that there were so many negative responses.
However this is the gift that keeps on giving. Not to turn this into a political rant... I'm really shocked at the responses and some of the comments that were made.
People giving the honest appearance that they really care for this country and our respective rights it almost inspires hope.

And for the people that thought the "government approved" makeover was bad... that is nothing... Have a look at congress and all the bills they have on the table.

Now that is something to be truly concerned about.

I won't say it wasn't annoying. But the idea that there were people that didn't realize all of this crazy bullcrap was put through on APRIL 1ST and decided to take it seriously is honestly funny enough to justify it in my opinion.

Lol, I can say that I fell for it. Well, in a positive way. I was actually happy that China got "un-blocked." At least I wasn't one of those people who took this stuff really seriously and bitched about it. They uber failed.

But of course, it just so happened that Newgrounds gets un-blocked on April 1st. I almost believed this was true, right until I saw the level icons, the review filter (it would change the wording so that it sounded "Asian" lol), and thread mood smilies that all had the stereotypical squinted eyes. If you were to actually make the site approvable to the Chinese for their people to visit, you wouldn't have put all those extra little things that were pretty much inappropriate. So all the people who took this the wrong way and really bitched about it are totally blind. If only they actually looked at all the things that were out of place.. the fact that it was on April 1st should've been the biggest hint lol.

But good job on the prank. I pretty much woke up my parents laughing at all the little changes I noticed. Good fun :D

Even I, the rampant complainer and patriot that I am, was not stupid enough to think you suddenly became a supporter of communist chinese government on april 1st. It was annoying though, the site wouldn't work on my day off.
