Wow, good lookin. There are quite a few movies that got looked over. Without the "Under Judgement" purple it was a little harder to track.

It actually well pissed me off yesterday it wouldn't ley me review anything or post in the really messed up forums. Im glad its over. I actually believed it had actually happened for about an hour and some of the games WTF?

Let the people that actually stopped anyone else from voting on their movies in the first place take care of it.

My thoughts:
It was a pretty well thought out joke. Not so lame like last years "poopgrounds" or the one we got before that ("redesign is here").

The color was indeed a bit harsh, just a tad bit darker would've been better.

Not letting users posts was funny, I guess the BBS Mods had a nice day yesterday. ^^
It also showed that we can (and maybe should) comment on userpages more often. :)

The blocked flash thing wasn't that good, imo. Lots of submissions (and some of them where serious submissions) where hanging in the Under Judgement phase and nobody could vote on it.

Users going all clockday-ish on new submissions was also bad... but at least I got around 40 blams (out of 60, not bad).

The rest: Fake chat, level icons, B/P icons, Whistles, etc. was pretty funny. I also liked the word filter and I was amazed how well it worked. Trying to pass it with spaces (like g a m e) did not work. Changing negations into the opposite was hilarious!

All in all, this China Rules, um, april fools joke gets an 8/10.

I thought it beat the two previous april fools that I've seen before. Poop grounds was absolutely... well, shitty. It was awful. The redesign one was kind of lame but still better than shit grounds...

Very nicely done... I loved the "My sister is dead!" thread, but I guess it got deleted... Shoulda screenied when I got the chance.

Also, much, much better than redesign is here and poopgrounds indeed. As a matter of fact, I think this one deffinatly beats the ones from ´05 up until ´08 if I can remember correctly what they did every year.

Well it was interesting to say the least.
I won't say it wasn't funny at first, but after five seconds it got annoying. Because as soon as I tried to log on to the forums and post some stupid message came up. But at least I got some screen shots of NewGrounds, or ChinaGrounds I guess you could say.

Anybody else notice bigbadron's front page newspost?

I'll be honest.

As some other people have already said about themselves, I wasn't in the best of moods yesterday either. I don't want to be a killjoy or anything because lots of people obviously found it funny, but after about five minutes, I was groaning at the jokes. I'm not sure whether it's something I missed out amongst the sub-community of higher-ups of Newgrounds regarding China that spurred the joke on, but in the end I wasn't "getting it". Sure, I understood it as a parody of Maoism and Chinese communism since the mid '70s, but I felt like it had dragged on too long for that to be just it.

I liked the Tank Man parody in the logo, and some of the changes in the profiles were funny. The stereotypes by the people allowed to post on the forums were just painful to read. I don't know, maybe I can't take a joke, or I've just had a bit of a bad time recently. Quite a large part of the time I like coming home and posting on the forums because I don't get judged so much here. Otherwise I just get too drunk and bother people on PalTalk or MSN because I'm not being distracted by the forums. Yeah, I'm pathetic like that, but hey, it's someone to talk to.

Although I'm aware this is thinking about it too much, I began thinking that it was all really laughing in the faces of moderate and far left-wingers. As if to say, "this is what you want" or something.

That being said, it was funnier than PooGrounds at least.

I was supposed to be unbanned yesterday.

At least I saw how it is to have a golden aura...

I liked the prank this year. The red skin looked awesome if you ask me. Much better than last years prank. Good job guys a lot of effort went into it and it paid off!

I like this years much more then last years "poogrounds", I just enjoyed the fact Tom really plan this out? The only bad thing for me was the red, I couldn't see red for a bit?

Haha, I don't think anyone could of gotten them all. There were so many. I couldn't believe it when I saw it... Someone had fun making that.

Probably the best april fools this site has ever done. Alot of effort must have been put into it.
