Really? People actually found this funny? Ehh. It was waaaay to obvious for an April Fool's day prank. Not much of a point if everyone (at least, everyone who isn't paranoid or completely retarded) figures out that its a prank 15 seconds after you switched the site around. Lot of work for a sub-par joke. I expected more from newgrounds.

c'mon poeple, stop moaning. So what, you had to do with one newgroundsless day. Let them have their fun apparently, there were still some poeple who fell for it, and even if you didn't, I had some great fun discovering all the china-features and the amount of detail they put into some changes. I say: Well Done!

As far as that it is too obvious: newgrounds pulls one of these every year, so if you have been here for over a year, you would have known something was coming. That didn't ruin the fun for me though.
Compare it with a real good flash movie submission. You know it is not real, but it can still be very funny.

Ehh, I get what you mean, but I can't help but feel they could've done better. I didn't particularly care that things were blocked (if you couldn't tell from my post count, I don't stop by all that often to begin with). I just thought the whole thing was a touch to overt. It's mostly just personal opinion (This is my holiday. I get to screw with people's heads and not get in trouble with family, friends, officers of the law, and the joyless fucker who runs the college I attend).

Seriously. Good fucking job, guys.

While it took me a while to realize it was a prank (About 7 minutes... lolol) It was FUCKING hilarious. For about... a few hours. Then everything suddenly became boring. There are rewards though, as the picture below so plainly demonstrates.
