I give it 70% chance of being an April Fool's joke, 30% chance that it's real.

If this IS real, I am deeply saddened.
Though, it'll help me spend more time on more productive things, it will make me miss this place, it's been here when I've wanted to not think about the issues of real life.

No one would go to psychological therapy over a BBS going down, even one as loved as NG's.
I'm greatly conviced it's going down, and it's very depressing.
I really enjoy posting on the BBS and communicating with intelligent people... With the occasion idiot and cock joke.
I have no doubt that alot of people will be leaving because of it. But I will not be. I have a musical career that I have started on NG, and because of NG I'm getting better. I feel that I must stay here if I want to get even better and further my career.
So to all the people that have made me smarter, and made me laugh and are leaving once the BBS goes down, good-bye, you'll be greatly missed.

Yesterday kind of proved to me how empty this place seems without the BBS. It just seemed to be nothing but blamming some of the crap 'naked dressup' flashes people were putting up, and that really isn't a formula that is going to keep me coming back.

I'm not an artistic person so an art forum doesn't interest me. Sure, I'd browse and be impressed because there are alot of quality artists on this site, but it's just without the interaction that the BBS provides, there's alot less fun to be had on here!

I really can't stand chat rooms. They always descend into people TYPING IN CAPITALS AND SAYING OMFG LOLOLOLOLROFLMAO etc. At least the BBS has some form of structure, where if someone posts shit we have modss who don't hesitate to drop the ban hammer. I want to submit flash when I'm not so busy with my degree, but I don't want to have to leave the site in the meantime because I don't enjoy my self anymore.

I have a few questions, i hope moderators or other users can answer them.

1. Can we exchange our posts for grounds gold points? Even it its like 1/5th the posts? lol.
2. Will the chat be like the BBS? and by that i mean the rules will be similar? And consequently will there need to be more mods to contain all the anarchy which will now be travelling at 50 posts/ second?
3. Will there be a seperate client to download for the chat so we can have multiple chats? i.e. private chats as well as public discussions?
and finally,
4. Will the chinese invade us?

But.. The BBS is one of best things on Newgrounds, i would rather give up the Lit, Art and Chat to keep the BBS. If this is true, it is a dark day for Newgrounds.
