It's done all the time.

What I want to know is, why do you ask?

Is the five year old naked?

You're being too vague: am I to assume we are just talking about family videos of children having a good time somewhere, or am I supposed to be lured by what I suspect to be bait regarding dirty videos? I would think it's perfectly fine in 99% percent of cases, and they all belong to the former category of videos. You can question why people would bother putting family videos on YouTube to begin with, but the simple answer is people love to share. I think in this case, there's only a problem if you search for one, something I fear happens far too often.

Why do you ask anyway?

I would assume, this user has just posted up a video of him burning his five year old brother/sister, had sudden doubts about it and is now asking us about it now it's too late.

I don't think that's such a good idea...use his social security number instead

What I'd be concerned with in that case would be why someone other than the child's parents would be filming the child in the first place, or why the name would be important enough to put in the description or wherever. I think it's largely a context thing.

I know you're probably just putting the idea out there for some random reason, but I feel like just bringing pointless stuff up. After all, I can't keep quiet while browse this place if I see something I could potentially answer ;)

That caught me up too, actually. Why would someone who wasn't the child's parent be filming them. I'd imagine, just for simplicity's sake that the debate is to be argued around the idea of putting your own child on youtube doing something innane and not objectionable.

I agree with you, in that I don't think it's ethically wrong, but I can't say I think someone should just whore their child out on the internet by posting dozens of videos of them doing anything.

That's for sure, lol.

Even when it's your own kids, you're a pervert.
