Frame Scan Uncolored

This is my most epic project yet.

I am animating each frame in a bound Moleskin sketchbook, page by page. Then I will be scanning in each of these frames, coloring them in Photoshop, and lastly compositing the movie in Flash, where I will add motion tweens for camera pans and shading effects. I have a 50 frame storyboard already sketched out. The music will go with the animation.

I hope everyone is as excited as I am!

I think it's kinda pointless to animate traditionally if you're coloring digitally anyway. No one's gonna be able to tell that it's traditional :(

i think you'll be able to tell. the lines don't resemble the paint tool. or the pencil tool. they are clean and unique.

you can i guess. i was thinking of turning the storyboards into a comic book version. they turned out really cool. maybe i'll upload those here.

Like I said in the other thread, the purple creature looks strange. Try centering the eyes a bit more, or making one big eye.

are you doing this for any animation class or is it just a personal thing? not sure if I asked you that before or not.
