why r movies released in japan 1st?

another thread mentioned the release of the DragonBall movie and Fast and Furious in Japan before their release in America. Why are american made movies released overseas first? wtf is up with that? anyone know a legitimate answer that can be backed up?

Some of those japanese horrors turned american are actually pretty good. On a site note, the movies are released in japan first because when they aren't lan gaming they are hacking our computers and stealing out movies!

Maybe they pay extra money to release it before the rest of the world, maybe not. Maybe the film companies release it to a country and it is up to the countries theaters to decide when to release it? I have no idea but either way that is pretty unfair.

Actually, you can get pirated movies, stolen movies, on regular markets in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, etc. a month or so before they are released... however, they are Russian dubbed, meaning one guy places the voices for every character, monotone. However, if you listen closely you can kinda hear the original voices in the background....

It seems hilarious now that I think of it... I think they're trolling.
