The fact that her death can possibly aid thousands of women who have the same cancer or some form of disease that is caught via a smear test, makes me happy that was was famous. Although in her life she was famous for being a loud mouthed idiot, who offered nothing really besides a couple of cheap laughs, she will actually be doing the world a favour in death, even to the point that the law could be changed letting younger women have smear tests. That's good.

I hated her when she was alive, even made jokes about her dying, but it's over now. A woman is dead. Many people die yes, but it never should be funny.

Now here is my problem with your argument:
Jade Goody doesn't deserve all this attention. Good or bad.
You should have no right to be overjoyed at her death, since she was nothing. She wasn't special. Maybe she was head of the BNP. Plenty of racists exist that don't get publicity.
There's millions of people with cancer.
There's alot of people who will die and leave their young children behind.

Jade Goody was nothing. Stop focusing so much on something so unimportant.

Maybe it's because I live in scotland and not england, but I've not met a single person irl that didn't think that it was sickening that she should get so much attention about it when other people who have achieved more get none.

This is the statement that really pisses me off. She got paid £1,000,000 for letting some tabloid photograph her wedding. £1,000,000. It does not cost that much to look after a child until they are 18, you could even live off that in a life time.

As for your arguement I have pretty much the same view as you. Yeah, cancer is horrible and no one deserves to get it, not even Jade Goody. However, as far as cancer sufferers go, she's got it pretty easy. A lot people in Jade Goody's situation are not financially secure, and leave their partner as a single parent with two kids. They would kill for even a fraction of the million pounds that Jade Goody is using to 'put her kids through their childhood'.
