Inexpensive, good 360 game. Mar. 28th, 2009 @ 11:25 AM Reply

Okay, so I'm probably getting a game for Easter, instead of candy and all that stuff. So, do you guys have any recommendations? I already have:

Halo 3
Gears of War
Gears of War 2
Call of Duty 4
Dead Rising
Mirror's Edge
Left 4 Dead
Resident Evil 5
Devil May Cry 4
Assassin's Creed
The Orange Box
Rainbow 6 Vegas

I'm looking for a game that's at less than forty dollars. I'd obvioiusly just like to buy Fallout 3, or Dead Space, but I'm pretty sure both of those are still fifty dollars. Assistance?

I see no Oblivion here.

It's a really fun game. Probably one of the best still out there.

Ah, good call. I'll definitely consider that if it's in my store.

Hmmm.... It depends what kind of game your looking for.

I recommend Fable 2. It has tons of replay value, and the game is altered depending on your choices. You can be good, evil, or neutral. You can do anything from battling unique creatures, to starting a family...and even GETTING IT OOONNNN!!

Call of Juarez. It's a very underrated game, but great fun. It's rather old though, so it only costs 20$ Also: Haveing a 360 without haveing ever played Oblivion is a crime punishable by death.

no, just no that game was average at best and i really didn't like it. Once i played fallout 3 i instantly loved it and blew fable 2 out of the water, i currently have 56 hours loged on fallout 3

Oblivion is a good inexpensive one, and so is Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution, very fun and addicting game, and has tons of replayability

Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection.

It's got over 40 quality games for just 30 bucks. It's one of the best values of the year.

Heh?

You've played Vegas 1, so why not get Vegas 2? It should be pretty cheap now.

not as much replay value as oblivion, im an rpg fanatic
oblivion is better

fable two is linear with free roaming glitter sprinkled on it
you cna do evrythign in about 14 hours of play and im nto tlaking just main quest, im tlkaing all the quests and buying evryting and doing the caslte and birhgtwood tower stuff

Mass Effect: was pretty great, and I believe they are supposed to be re-releasing it with the Bring Down the Sky dlc included if they haven't already.
Bioshock: a bit over rated but still worth it
Burnout Paradise: open world racing at it finest and plenty of dlc to keep you coming back
GTA4: plenty of fun, online and off, and with the Lost and Damned dlc you pretty much get another full game.
Banjo Kazooie Nuts n Bolts: mutiplayer was a total let down , but the vehicle creation is pretty sweet and can eat up a good chunk of time.
Fight Night Round 3: good ol boxing fun, online is pretty much dead but single player is fun and turning off the refs ability to call the fight and seeing how badly you can mess up you opponents face can be pretty satisfying
The Darkness: plenty violent, and how can ripping out peoples hearts and eating them with your tentacle things not be awesome.
Stranglehold: It's pretty much Max Payne goes to China, I only played the demo but had lots of fun with it
That's all I can come up with for now

Get Mass Effect. It has hundreds of hours in one playthrough alone, and the DLC is somewhat cheap!

Thanks for all the ideas, guys. I forgot to add that I can just borrow Bishock and Mass Effect from my friend, who hardly plays his 360 anymore due to his no-Liveness. I'm definitely leaning towards Oblivion and Fallout 3 as of right now, but Condemned 2 is also definitely up there. It all depends on what games my store will be holding. Hell, Oblivion's been out for awhile, I might be able to afford two games, assuming it's cheap enough.
