Im organizing this contest for a few reasons:
-1: I've always wanted too.
-2: Genre creation is something i've tried before, but never with any luck.
-3: I think the entries will be cool as hell, and may result in a new popular genre.

Anyway, some rules:
-:Follow NGAP Guidlines as usual.
-:All work must be NEW as of today.

BPM: Any will do.

Length: As long as you want, but no less than 25 seconds.

Deadline: Lets go for arpil 3rd.

REMEMBER:
When submitting, Specify your NEW GENRE in THIS POST as well as your upload.
Only Audio linked back here will be scoreable. [ that means, no " Oh, go check out my song ,[title] ,its cool.... ]

Don't you think that the 3rd of April is a pretty short deadline considering your asking people to create a whole new genre of music?

Wow, I was looking at my calendar and just picked a friday in april.

forgot it was march 28th :(

I gues the deadline should be around april 13.

I'd suggest a month, dude... otherwise nobody is going to participate. People here have jobs and outside lives, so 2 weeks to make a new genre of music is a little steep. ;)

Yeah i wanna play this game too but i need some time man i got school and girls and stuff so im pretty busy.

Here's my entry. Cheesy, but I'll call it Drumline. Similar to a marching drumline, all of the music is done by the drums, nothing else.

Or does mixing two genres count as a new genre?

thios was actually much harder than i thought.

Usually i'm just ending with a mash of random voices that sound like a dance song with silly voice choices.

So unless silly voice dance music is a new genre guess i'ma have to start again :(

Going against the rules a bit since this is my most recent song but not new to this date.. Anyway, my genre of music is "genre story". Place any common genre like techno/trance/etc. to replace the genre word so for this song its called house story. My music changes from beginning to end like how a story progresses...except not as repetitive as progressive trance/house/etc...

Anyways this song is also my attempt of creating a new gerne, and i think i succeded. its called *StyluZ-Ambient* Ambient with style! Its kind of a mix of jungle and ambient but with a classical touch and some Trance/dance synths.
