3.80 / 5.00 4,200 Viewsthis is something i did with photoshop in my electronic art class, i made myself a zombie. xD this is my first attempt at this, i haven't really been using photoshop much, only in school, so be easy on me with this. I know i could've done better as far as with veins and cracks in the skin and such, especialy around my forehead. tell me what you think :D

Like you said: the cracks on your forehead are strange, otherwise it's ok. The background is a bit weird, it is there on the left side, not on the right, it might just be that way, but it still looks weird, keep that in mind when making photo's.
Also: I think the transition from face to skull is a bit too obvious, it has been done a million times, so maybe you could make it more gradual, so that on first sight you'd thnk it's just a head, and after a while you see the skull.
Looks pretty cool. I would suggest using the liquify tool or something similar to make the cracks contour the forehead, then shade them appropriately.

Yeah like i said, i could've done better, i took the original picture in my bathroom. i didn't this within my class period (1 hour 30 mins), but i definatly could've done better. thanks for the critisism

The cracks in the skin were done using the texture option in the blending options on a layer than covered the flesh part. the tutorial to do this that i was trying to follow didn't work, so i had to improvise somehow. like i said, haven't been using photoshop very often, so this is pretty much novice work. thanks for the critisism
Did another one. this time i did a really cool blood red demonic look by messing with gradients. The original isn't as good as my first one, but watcha think? O.O
It looks fine, but all the jpgs you used look very low quality ultimately ending in what could be an awesome final image. Find some larger higher quality images to layer over your face the next time you want to do something like this.

Now this one is pretty freaking cool, I like the contrast between red and the white. This is much better then the first one.

haha, well actually my friend used his phone to take this picture, so thats why the quality isn't so great

Thank you! i also did some other versions, but the blood redish one is my favorite. i also did this in B&W
one remark on the latest one (red/black-white): Your own eye, doesn't really come out in this. It blends in with the background, which makes it a bit dull. this could be due to the low quality of the phone-photo.
i have'nt read all the posts of wht pple think but this isn't very good
i mean sure it looks okay but it's a real half assed job
1. the placement of the skull isn't very great and if it's a zombie wheres the decay on the dead skin next to the bare skull
2. this is really just two pictures mixes together
3. they mix so badly that instead of fixing it you just discolered the picture so that no one would notice
i see potential but your bailing out on your art.
so remember it doesn't matter if your tired or are being lazy or it's getting boring working on it make sure everything is good enough to your standards before you say finish

the original is ok, the colored stuff i did for fun, not because i didn't like it. I haven't been using photoshop very long so this was the best i could do
Flipping awesome! Mind telling me how in the name of cereal did you make that?
I love Street Fighter. obviously.

there are online tutorials for photoshop that show you how its done. however, i didn't refer to most of it with my zombie pictures. search up on google and you'll be sure to find one

I dunno, you're mostly just layering other images over your own and editing them a little. I don't like how the skull is way to big for the face on this pic, and all your others.

How's this? Not exactly a zombie like pic, but kinda reminds me of the album cover art for "the diseased and the poisoned" by carnifex.
