Userpage Problem

When I go to a userpage right now, it's all black on the right side(the most interesting part)

and all it says is: Type id is AD_ERROR_TYPE Can't show anything?

So.. does anyone know what is going on? I can;t reply to my comments!

I think it happens after you click the banner ad about becoming an icon artist, at least that was what seemed to have caused it for me.

It seems to be happening for everyone. It's hard to tell if this is some sort of maintenance thing or if there's a problem that needs to be dealt with. I'll IM an administrator or two just in case. Everybody's sleeping at this hour, though.

Yeah every flash submission I go to has this error, and it doesn't allow the voting icons to become active either.

He has his own time zone, and it operates more or less in sync with NG's. I did IM him, though. The default client of AIM that I use, albeit bloated and stupid, does allow me to send offline IMs.

I think the only thing that hasn't been affected by this is the Forums at present. I've just tried to vote on flash movies on the portal and then my profile is on the fritz as well. I've got a partial profile, with the stats block, latest submissions, news posts and favourite movies, but something stops the rest showing...

The audio portal and it's voting system over there seem to be fine.

I think it's one of those sit back and wait it out type deals.

It won't come to that (though I can hope that some of the 194 users above me lose experience :P) as NG has a very sophisticated server setup. There's probably some glitch in something that's been implemented.

Plus baby Fulp is way too young to be putting slices of toast into the CD drive :P

Yeah for me too, and it shows the "Logged in as:" with my name. Kinda makes me feel like someone's messin with something they shouldn't be.

I get the error message and can't vote on anything, and also can't look at most of peoples profiles or comment on them.

I wouldn't be particularly worried about this. It's just loading a new NG page within the ad frame instead of opening a new page like it's supposed to. Not the first time it's happened.

It seems as if until this is fixed, not a single Flash submission will pass review, eventually filling the recent submissions with purples, and upsetting the current balance of user voting. If this keeps up, it could really hit Newgrounds at its core.
