A great news station would be comprised of absolutely NO news anchors at all. Just pure, raw, unadulterated cold hard facts spoken by Microsoft Sam. Only thing is, no one would watch it.

Why not? Because Microsoft Sam is one of the most annoying voices ever to grace (or not) the ears of the people, or because people couldn't relate to information that doesn't play to their bias?

The latter. Through the tone of their voice, you can tell the stances of people. If it's condescending or sarcastic, they're most likely against what is being reported or discussed. I know for a fact that if we had a normal voice, not necessarily Microsoft Sam as that was an exaggeration, relaying the news it would be a lot less sensationalist.

Anything that involves a "business" where money is at the heart of it's impetus will never have pure intentions. It's something of a rule (theory maybe).

i think it's very hard to be unbiased. i try to be as unbiased as possible but a lot of times my conservative side shows. although to be honest i doubt fox news would be as bad with the names. i mean you don't see liberals with a nickname like crazy conservative or right wing nut.

I haven't noticed much bias in CNN but i guess they are to busy figuring how to get their technology crutch to work to develope a bias.
