That's ok. Had I know the suggestions were for you I would of edited them. I didn't know there were restrictions to the way we thought of ideas. Next time you ask for some sort of creativity I'll remember to leave you in the dark as to how I got to it and present the finished product. I still think you tried to single me out cause you want some ass. But I don't swing that way candy pants. Go sing your YMCA somewhere else.

And what is with folks listing tons of suggestions? Brain-storming is fine and all, but who needs or wants to witness it in progression? Wait until you come-up with something good before sharing it.

Who decides what is good? Can't a bad suggestion lead to a better idea? A single word can make someone else brainstorm and solve the problem. That's why you don't hold back when you concept.

Well this combines both ?

Newgrounds :
~ The World's Biggest Flash Community Of The Future, Today ! ~

but Maybe just a complete new one would be in order ?

Newgrounds : Not your ordinary little website ?

I LIKE THIS ONE .....

Newgrounds :
Today, The Future, The Past, NEWGROUNDS IS FOREVER

Newgrounds: "<Insert slogan here>"
Newgrounds: "True Democracy"
Newgrounds: "We Give New Meaning To The Word Democracy"
Newgrounds: "We make Babies Cry"
Newgrounds: "We make Utopias look like Landfills"
Newgrounds: "Without You, We Don't Exist"
Newgrounds: "Where Votes Actually Makes A Difference!"

I can't come up with a good one, but what I'm trying to say is, WE are Newgrounds, without us, it doesn't exist. Try to come up with something along those lines. I also like my last suggestion, people who are pretty new come around, get the impression that every vote counts.

Although I do like the one slogan:
"If we haven't done it, it's a felony"
lol

Okay, I've read through every single post in this topic, but nothing has stood out extraordinarily to me. Firstly, I just wanna say in response to some of Tom's concerns: yes, Newgrounds is more than just Flash, but to be honest Flash is really what Newgrounds is about. Its what draws people here. So I don't think by having Flash in the title, you're excluding the other media that you have here. Its kind of an addition to the Flash, and people will find that out as they browse. I think you really should stick with "Flash" in the tagline to pull people in to Newgrounds main purpose. Oh, and I think it would be fine to use a tag like "The World's Biggest Flash Community..." seeing as you're not boasting, and can actually live up to the call. At least it's a very straightforward description of Newgrounds -- no one is going to think you are being big-headed, it's just the truth.

Well, I've read through everyone's suggestions -- some were good, and some terrible (sorry, but its the truth, lol) and below are a few suggestions of my own -- plus a couple of silly ones at the bottom. And if you read this topic and still find nothing pleasing (hopefully you will like one of the suggestions) then I suggest you just keep the one you have. If you don't like any of these better, there's nothing wrong with "Newgrounds.com -- The Problems of the Future, Today!" Aaanyways, here they are:

Some Serious Suggestions:

Newgrounds.com -- Breaking New Grounds in Flash Entertainment!

Newgrounds.com -- The Future of Flash Entertainment!

Newgrounds.com -- The World's Largest Flash Community!

Newgrounds.com -- Taking Flash Entertainment in a New Direction!

Newgrounds.com -- Defining the Future of Flash Entertainment!

Aaand Some Silly Ones:

Newgrounds.com -- Stop Complaining About the Ads or we'll Fucking Kill You!

Newgrounds.com -- Serious About Flash :-|

Newgrounds.com -- And the Lord said, let there be Flash!

(P.S. Hope these were helpful.. maybe you'll find one you like up there?)

With out a doubt: The New Slogan should be:

*drum roll*

Newgrounds.com: The worlds greatest collection of flash animations, and unfortunate stick fighting games.

Ever thought of getting a celeb singer to produce a crappy song and use a mind numbing lyric such as, "i'm lovin it"? It worked for McDonlads. Think about it.

I agree. But it is more like 3:1. Bastard NooBs. Yea, I think that one does sound a little cheezy. But it does incorperate both the audio and flash secions of the site it sounds more like a crappy school program. Not sure why but that is what I think about when I hear that one. We have had the old slogan forever but its a great slogan. Im not sure if we need change. Not yet anyways.

"Newgrounds, everyday"
"Newgrounds, your portal to the Flash commuity"
"Newgrounds, flash your friends"
"Newgrounds, show me yours"
"Newgrounds, show us yours"
"Newgrounds, have you flashed anyone lately?"
"Newgrounds, one step ahead"
"Newgrounds, setting the bar"
"Newgrounds, bringing you tomorrow, today"
"Newgrounds, flash brought to life"
"Newgrounds, open up"

Just a few quick thoughts.

I think it should be kept the same.

I don't think I've actually read the slogan for around a year, but it's still lodged firmly in my mind. It didn't really make sense to me, but that was what helped keep it in my brain and that 'curiousity' aspect seems to reflect the nature of the site - the reason I watch random Flashes rather than sticking to the charts is this same curiousity.

It's quirky and shows a sense of humour. Some of the suggestions seem good enough, but lack real character - they could be about any number of other sites.

The current slogan comes across as being the result of a single forceful, decisive vision and I think this is one of NG's great strengths.

However, below are my favourites if it really had to be changed.

If there ever was a line, Newgrounds has crossed it.
(although this is as inaplicable as the current one really)

Breaking new grounds, even as you sleep!
(although it does grate a bit after a while with corniness, it's nice at first)
